RELENTLESS BY JOHN BEVERE REVIEW
If someone asked you to sum up your walk with God in one word, what would it be? Would you say satisfactory, enthusiastic, or even stagnant? John Bevere tells us in his new book exactly how we should describe it- relentless.
He has explored many facets of Christianity in other books such as ‘Undercover’. This time he focuses on how to finish well in our earthly race. Throughout its 237 pages, Bevere tackles such sub-topics as grace in us, how to rule in life, being an overcomer, & many others. Peppered with relevant & hard-hitting Scriptures, he validates each point. By using both his own experiences & the testimonies of others, he illustrates how these principles can be mastered and applied. I especially enjoyed the bit from his mother-in-law.
Bevere’s writing could easily be received from a pulpit, but readers are blessed to be able to have it right in front of them in print.
I can only hope that this won’t be the last work from him. He truly has a gift.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who may need some spiritual CPR. It will cause you to take a fresh look at oft repeatedly verses. ‘Relentless’ will get you animated about your faith all over again!
An Amen & 5 of 5 stars for ‘Relentless’!
John Bevere can be found on both Twitter & Facebook. There is also curriculum based on the book available for personal study & small groups. These can be found through the publisher’s website www.waterbrookmultnomah.com . I received one print copy to do my review. I was under no obligation to post a positive review. No other compensation was provided.
