Friday
started off, well, off. The hubs forgot to wake us. Luckily, youngest got up on
time. Good boy. Woke up to see bunches of people down the road. Newbies are at
the for sale house. So, after hubs left, I prayed about it then decided to go
ahead, walk on down, & say hey. After awkwardly introducing me, they
announced they were….the cleaning people. Wow. Fail. They sure were nice
though.
Little man had to take two very long
tests for the state. They’re for confirming what he’s learning. He didn’t do
too badly. We are only 8 days into the year for goodness sakes. They were math
& reading. We didn’t get 100% into our schoolwork. I have to be done when
hubs gets home. It just becomes too chaotic.
He did well on his language arts.
We’re learning to write journal entries. He did well in spelling, too. His PA
History course has proved a bit more challenging than it did at first glance.
Our first big assignment is to make 3 picture postcards about 3 different
places in 3 different PA regions that someone may want to see. Not too
incredibly hard.
He did two practice games. One was
for math & the other focused on synonyms & antonyms. He didn’t seem to
struggle whatsoever.
I also tried out another new recipe.
This one was for Cheesy Kielbasa. It smells delightful. Little man says it
smells like bacon. It really doesn’t. But it looks like it’ll be a crowd
pleaser. I hope.
All 3 boys are planning to stay home
this weekend. Dad is working on his truck & they’ve promised to help. It’ll
look like a 3 stooge’s episode, no doubt.
